So yesterday, I officially moved out on my own. Moving was a dread and extremely tiring. Fortunately, I had my little bro’s and big bro to help me out.
One of my top reason for moving out was because of Dutchess. I didn’t like the idea of locking her up in my room all day. I didn’t want her to be restricted. At first she was whining and crying when she first arrived but as soon as I unpacked and organized everything she adjusted quickly. Seeing her jumping and running around everywhere brought me great joy, knowing that she loved her new space. Also, praise the Lord; I am so thankful the litter box is no longer in my room. I won’t have to breathe in the odor from her little box!
Last night was my first night sleeping alone in the new place. Even though I slept with the lights on, I still had anxiety. It’s going to take time for me to feel comfortable in the new space and comfortable with the idea that I am actually alone. May the odds be in my favor!
